Our membership structure allows you to get involved according to your level of interest. We currently have 3 levels of membership; Senior, Associate and Winter. Note: boat fees are not included in membership. See below for details.

Senior Membership

If you would like to keep your multihull at TMCC, you must be a Senior member. Senior membership is also a good option if you are building a multihull, would like to use our facilities for summer or winter storage and/or would like to participate fully in all club events including elections.

As we are a self-help, volunteer run club, all Senior Members are required to perform one shift as Duty officer and log 20 work-hours/year. Work-hour shortfalls are billed at $35/hr.

Senior Membership includes:
  • Use of all club facilities
  • One place on the seniority list
  • Ability to sit on the TMCC Board
  • One vote at all general meetings
  • Priority for one wet mooring or one dry-sail space
  • Access to one cradle/dinghy/trailer storage space
  • Priority for one winter storage space.
  • Full reciprocal privileges at dozens of participating clubs on and around the Great Lakes
  • TMCC Newsletter

Senior Membership Fee: $400/yr. (Not including mooring, drysail and/or winter storage if applicable)

Initiation Fee: $1000 - This is a one-time fee for Senior Membership only.

Associate Membership: $100/year

If you're truly interested in finding out more about multihulls before you take the plunge it's the best $100 you'll ever spend. Associate members enjoy crewing opportunities, the TMCC newsletter and access to all TMCC social events.

As we are a self-help, volunteer run club, all Associate members are required to log 10 work-hours/year.

Associate members have no voting or seniority privileges. The TMCC Board of Directors reserves the right to limit duration and number of Associate memberships year to year.

Winter Membership: $200/year

TMCC offers winter storage space to multihulls from outside of our club on a year to year basis and as space allows. The Winter membership category applies to those non-TMCC boat owners wishing to store a multihull on our property from late Oct. through mid May.
A fee of $.66/sq.ft (boat and cradle/trailer) also applies. All winter members must provide proof of $1M third party liability.

So what about the BOATS? Fees for wet moorings, dry-sail boat storage and winter storage and are charged according to boat size and in addtion to Senior membership fee.
